The company is equipped with a roofed warehouse (with an area of about 1,500 square meters, for storing about 50,000 tons of seeds and meals), dryers, and mechanized oil storage silos (with a total area of 42,000 square meters and with a capacity of 3,000 tons and 100,000 tons respectively per day). A cotton cleaning unit (with an area of 1,100 square meters), a lintering unit (with an area of 3,000 square meters and a capacity of 20,000 tons per year), oil extraction units for all kinds of oil seeds using two methods of extraction and cold press or unrefined (with a total area of 46,000 square meters and with an annual production capacity of 33,000 tons, and a unit for the production of all kinds of animal and poultry meal (with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons). The company is located on a land measuring 37 hectares in Aliabad Katul County of Golestan province. Khavardasht Agro-Industry Company produces all kinds of unrefined edible oils (such as soybean, rapeseed, sunflower, safflower, and cottonseed), all kinds of animal meal (such as soybean meal, rapeseed meal, sunflower meal, safflower meal and cotton meal), and all kinds of edible oils (such as sesame oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, and camellia oil) produced using cold press method. The company also produces high-quality cotton fibers, pure cotton, and types of linter types 1 and 2 (for use in the military and chemical industries), which are supplied to the market with the two brands “Khavardasht” and “Jahan Banoo”, holding a 5 percent share of the domestic market for each product.
