Kowsar Energy Development Company
Kowsar Energy Development Company (Private Joint Stock) with the brand name “Noortek” was established in in the Iranian calendar year of 1394 (March 2015-March 2016) within the framework of a joint investment by Kowsar Economic Organization and the private sector in order to offer services to the country’s energy sector by adopting measures for energy saving and reducing electricity consumption in line with the goals of the 20-year national outlook plan.
The company’s head office and the manufacturing unit, with 1,680 square meters of area and 1,160 square meters of superstructure, is located in Isfahan province.
Kowsar Energy Development Company, with an annual production capacity of more than 5,000 mechanical and 1,000,000 electrical parts, supplies its products with the brand name “Noortek” to the market.
Noortek produces two groups of indoor lightings and lamps (Homa, Kimia, Haleh, Mahta, Mahsa, Parto, and Rakhshan models) and external lightings and lamps (Tara, Afra, and Afshan models) as well as power supplies, routers, and peripheral equipment needed by the lighting industry.
The company has so far managed to obtain various international certificates, including:
- ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management System,
- ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System,
- OHSAS 18001, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series,
- The certificate for product conformity with the basic safety standards of the European Union (CE Marking);
- The international certificate for Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
Inside the country, Noortek has also managed to receive certificate from the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran. The company is planning to obtain a certificate for to manufacture “Street LED lamps” as well.
