Shahab Company
Shahab Company was initially registered as “Radio Company” in the Iranian calendar year 1343 (March 1964-March 1965) and in the year 1351 (March 1972-March 1973), it was converted into a private joint stock company and renamed to “Shahab Company”.
The head office of Shahab Company and its factory, with three production lines and the annual capacity of around 300,000 products and a total of 140 workers, is located in Tehran in an area measuring some 4,000 square meters.
The company has expanded its product portfolio in recent years and has manufactured some other household appliances in addition to upgrading audio and visual products, such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, gas stoves, speakers, home theaters, and digital TV receivers. Shahab is honored to be the first manufacturer of color televisions in Iran.
The company has so far succeeded in obtaining numerous international certificates, including:
- The certificate for product conformity with the basic safety standards of the European Union (CE Marking);
- The certificate for Quality management and quality assurance system (ISO 9002:1994),
- The certificate for safety, health and environment management system (OHSAS 18001:1990 & 1999),
- The international certificate for environmental management system (ISO 14001:1996),
- The certificate for quality management system (ISO9001:2000),
- The certificate for maintaining environmental sustainability from Sweden (TCO certificate),
- The certificate for environmental management system (ISO14001:2004),
- The Green Partner certificate from Sony Corporation.
Inside the country, Shahab has also managed to receive various awards in the field of production, sales and customer orientation including:
- A 2-star, and a 3-star plaques of honor respectively at the 5th and 6th National Award for Excellence and Progress in 1399 (March 2020-March 2021) and 1400 (March 2021-March 2022),
- A golden statue at the 10th Conference of Productivity and Quality Management in 1394 (March 2015-March 2016).
- One of the top 100 companies of the country in the Iranian calendar year 1393 (March 2014-March 2015), by the Iran Industrial Management Company (IMI) at the 15thedition of the company’s ranking conference (IMI-100)
- One of the top 100 companies of the country in the Iranian calendar year 1394 (March 2015-March 2016) by the Iran Industrial Management Company (IMI) at the 16th edition of the company’s ranking conference (IMI-100)
- One of the top 100 companies of the country in the Iranian calendar year 1395 (March 2016-March 2017) by the Iran Industrial Management Company (IMI) at the 17th edition of the company’s ranking conference (IMI-100), which is held annually.
