Khorasan Cotton and Oilseeds Factories Company (Public Joint Stock)
Khorasan Cotton and Oilseeds Factories Company was established as a public joint stock entity in the Iranian calendar year 1334 (March 1955-March 1956). It was converted into a private joint stock company in the Iranian calendar year 1350 (March 1971-March 1972) and then was converted once again from private joint stock into public joint stock in the Iranian calendar year 1399 (March 2020-March 2021). The company was registered under the code “Ghadaneh” at the Iran Fara Bourse Organization in the Iranian calendar year 1400 (March 2021-March 2022).
Khorasan Cotton and Oilseeds Factories Company has been established in an area measuring 89,145 square meters in the city of Neishabour in Khorasan Razavi province, , supplying its products to the market with the brand name “Leefood” in the Iranian calendar year 1390 (March 2011-March 2012).
With the capacity of extracting oil from 500 tons of oilseeds per day, the company produces various types of animal meal (soybean meal, rapeseed meal, corn meal, sesame meal, etc.), types of crude oil (soybean oil, rapeseed oil, corn oil, sesame oil, grape seed oil, etc.), protein soybean meal (for human consumption), lecithinized soybean oil, edible lecithin (to be used in the food industry), soy protein (for human consumption), and types of refined oil (soybean, rapeseed, sesame, corn, grape seed).
Leefood has so far received different international certificates, including:
- ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System,
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- HACCP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
The company’s products are provided to households, producers of feed for livestock, poultry and fish farms in the domestic and overseas markets.
