Kowsar Saba Holding managed to win 9th place in the group of multisectoral industrial companies at the 26th National Conference on Top 100 Iranian Companies (IMI-100) in terms of sales in the industry index. The Holding also ranked 177 in the country in terms of the sales and income index.

 

 

 

Based on the report of the IMI-100 expert group and the results of the ranking related to the current Iranian calendar year (March 2023-March 2024) released by the Industrial Management Organization for top companies, Kowsar Saba Holding (comprising seven affiliated manufacturing-industrial companies namely: Simcat, Jemco, Shahab, Noortek, Leefood, Jahan Banoo, and Manilo) ranked 177 among 500 large companies of the country in terms of the sales and income index, and ranked 9 in terms of the sales in the industry index among multisectoral holdings.

 

 

 

It should be noted that the sales index is the most important index for ranking the top companies in Iran (IMI-100).

 

 

The 26th National Conference on Top 100 Iranian Companies (IMI-100) was held on Monday, January 22, at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) conference hall in the presence of Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Abbas Ali-Abadi; Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Ehsan Khandouzi; Securities and Exchange Organization Director Majid Eshqi; as well as some economic and industrial officials and managers of top Iranian companies such as Kowsar Saba Holding, and also economic and industrial experts.

 

 

 

The National Conference on Top 100 Iranian Companies (IMI-100) has been held annually since the Iranian calendar year 1377 (March 1998-March 1999) by the Industrial Management Organization. The event assesses, identifies, and introduces large Iranian companies in the fields of production, service, industry, insurance, investment, and banking which play a key role in boosting production, job creation, export, and generally speaking, the economic development of the country. The ranking is based on indices such as “sale”, “added value”, “profitability”, “market value”, “job creation”, and “export”.

 

 

 

Simcat Company in the city of Tabriz (with half a century of experience in manufacturing kinds of wire and cable), Jemco Company in Khorasan Razavi province (manufacturing kinds of heavy and super heavy electric machines in the Middle East), Shahab Company in the city of Tehran (the first manufacturer of audio, visual, and home appliance in Iran), Khorasan Cotton and Oilseeds Factories Company in the city of Neyshabur in Khorasan Razavi province (with the brand name of “Leefood” and the symbol of “Ghdaneh” on the stock market), Khavardasht Agro-Industry Company in Golestan province (with the brand name of “Jahan Banoo”), Kowsar Behchin amin Food Industries Company in Khorasan Razavi province (producing kinds of canned food without the use of preservatives with the brand name of “Manilo”), and Kowsar Energy Development Company with the brand name of “Noortek” are among the subsidiaries of Kowsar Saba Holding.

Kowsar Saba Holding managed to obtain the international certificate for Quality Management Systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 standards from the International Accreditation Services (IAS) of the United States.

 

 

This accredited international certificate was awarded to Kowsar Saba Holding based on ISO international standards for observing principles of quality management, the public relations department of Kowsar Saba Holding reported.

 

 

Receiving the international certificate for quality management systems based on ISO 9001 global standards is part of the steps Kowsar Saba Holding has taken to improve the quality of services and products of its subsidiaries.

 

 

ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems (QMS). This ISO is the most accredited standard among the series of ISO 9000 standards that was updated in 2015 and is referred to as ISO 9001:2015.
